SYNERGY SURVEYS 2025 WA STATE ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIPS Round 5, Collie – Report
Last Sunday saw the running of Round 5 of the ‘Synergy Surveys’ State Road Racing
Championships at the Collie Motorplex Long Track. The weather gods were kind to us for the
majority of the round with only the last three races impacted with lightish rain. The ‘Cof C’ made
the decision to allow time for the necessary tyre changes and reduced the final three races each
by 2 laps enabling the program to be completed in a timely manner.
‘The Dynapumps Superbikes’ got the day’s proceedings underway and as he has done for the
majority of the 2025 season it was Sam Clarke (Rick Gill Motorcycles Suzuki GSX-R1000) who
dominated the round with three runaway wins. Defending champion Ben Stronach (Grundfos
Yamaha R1) and Adam Senior (Senior Engineering Yamaha R1) sharing the minor podium place
with Senior taking two seconds and a third and Stronach a second and two third places. Andrew
Shields (Yamaha R1) was fourth in all three races, followed Warren French (ZX10RR) 5th overall.
In the ‘RS Contracting’ ‘C’ Grade Superbike Series Andrew Shields took the round win with 75
points ahead of Josh Norman (BMW S1000RR) and Paul Davies (Track Action BMW S1000RR)
Overall Series Points: Clarke leads the Championship with 321 points, second is Stronach with
245 points, Senior third on 242 points and Andrew Shields 4th on 182 pts. Sam Clarke looks to
have an unbeatable lead now on the 2025 Championship.
‘The Westwide Air Conditioning Services – Clubman ‘Stars of Tomorrow’ Luke Whillians (Marechal Electric Services Yamaha R1) took the chequered flag in all three races. In race 1 Will Power (Track Action Yamaha R1) was second with Angelo Antoni (Campbell Road Automotive & Motorcycle Honda CBR600RR) third. Race 2 and it was Barry Hickey (Piara Bricklaying Yamaha R1) taking second place ahead of Craig Hutchinson (MINTOX Racing Ducati Panigale V2) in third spot. The final race saw the same three finish in the same order. Whillians took 75 points from the round and leads the Series with 143 points. In the 600cc Class it is Angelo Antoni who took the round win with 70 points and he also leads the 600cc Class with 130 points.
‘flashpixx.net Sidecar Championship’ saw Morgan Marshall/Matt McLeish (City Panelbeaters
Kawasaki ZX-10) win the first two races before finishing in fourth place in the final race. Second
in Race 1 were Murray Stronach/Darryl McLeod (Turnapart Engineering Suzuki GSX-R1000) with
the father/son combo of Robert & Hamish Taylor(Turret Engineering LCR Suzuki 1000) in third
place. Race 2 saw Marshall again take the win with the outfits of Stronach and Taylor swapping
places. In the final race there was a boil over with the F2 outfit of Steven McQueen/Max
Perrin (Coppin Road Customs Watson 600) taking the win with Stronach/McLeod in second place
and the Taylor’s in third place. Marshall/McLeish took the round win with 67 points, second were
McQueen/Perrin with 59 points and third were Stronach/McLeod with 58 points.
Overall Championship Points : Nash/Mapstone lead the Championship with 270 points, second
are the Taylor’s with 253 points and third are Stronach/McLeod with 228 points,
Marshall/McLeish are fourth with 212 points and McQueen/Perrin round out the top five on 202
points.
‘The Cully’s Yamaha Supersport Championship’ Jordan White (Five Star Yamaha R6) took the
wins in the first two races with Hayden Treversh (Turn 1 Motorsports Kawasaki ZX-6R) second in
both with Adam Senior (Senior Engineering Honda CBR600RR) third in both. In the final race
which was reduced to six laps due to the rain it was Adam Senior that greeted the chequered flag
ahead of Lauchy Williams (Onyabike Adventures Yamaha R6) with Jordan White taking third place.
White took the round win with 68 points from Senior on 61 points and Treversh on 57 points.
Overall Championship Points: White leads the championship with 285 points, second is Senior
on 258 points with Callum O’Brien in third place now on 234 points (having missed this round
due to ASBK commitments).
‘In the Northside Motorcycles ‘C’ Grade Supersport Series Hayden Treversh took the round win
with 70 points and leads the Series with 324 points. Second was Lauchy Williams with 60 points
and third was Ryan Pietsch (Go Moto Store Yamaha R6) with 53 points. Pietsch and Williams are
second and third respectively in the Series with 246 points and 228 points.
‘The Ducati Perth ‘BEARS Series’ saw Ross Hudson (Track Action Ducati 1199S Panigale), Chris
Cull (Oxford Project Services BMW S1100RR) and Craig Hutchinson (MINTOX Racing Ducati
Panigale V2) share the honours in that order in the first 2 races. But when the rain came it was
the BMW’s to the fore with Cull taking the win in the third race, second was Paul Davies (Dickies
Wet Weather Riding School BMW S1000RR) and third was Josh Norman (BMW S1000RR). Hudson
won the round in the F1 Class with 67 points and Martin Calley(Campbell Road Automotive &
Motorcycles Triumph Daytona 675) took the round win in the F2 Class.
Overall Series Points: Hudson leads the overall F1 Class with 243 points and Hutchinson leads
the Overall F2 Class with 165 points.
In the ‘Campbell Road Automotive & Motorcycles’ Production Championship Lauchy
Williams (Onyabike Adventures Yamaha R3) won the first two races from Joel Jenzen (Goodyear
Esperance Yamaha R3 second in each race and Abbie Cameron (Mototech TT Yamaha R3) third in
each race. In the final 4 lapper Jenzen took the win ahead of Williams with Cameron again third.
Best of the ‘Modern Lights’ was Rob Wheeler (Waroona Electrical Services Kawasaki Ninja 300)
with three wins in the class. Williams took the round win with 70 points, second was Jenzen with
65 points and Cameron was third with 54 points.
Overall Championship Points: Williams leads the Championship with 260 points, second just a
solitary point in arrears is Jenzen with Wheeler in third place with 183 points.
In the ‘ON Track Motorcycles Production Lights Series’ Wheeler was the round winner with 75
points and leads the Series with 284 points, second overall in the Series is Tahlia Lang ( Stable
Watercarting Stable Hire Kawasaki Ninja 300) with 195 points and third is Keith Alexander who
missed this round with 164 points.

The Final round for 2025 heads back to Carco.com.au Wanneroo Raceway on November 9th.
Saturday November 8th is Practice & Qualifying for the final round of the Australian Sidecar
Championships plus Tuning and RidedaysWA also on track from 9.00am for the day.
Sunday will see all 3 races for the Australian & State Sidecar Championships Final plus all solo
classes in the final showdown for 2025.
