BECOME A FLAG MARSHALL !

  Duties of a Flag Marshall:

  What Happens on Race Days:

You will be contacted a week prior to each event to confirm availability.
On the day, report to the infield tower. Parking is allowed infield prior to 8:30am, otherwise park at rear of pit paddock.
Flaggies sign on commences at 7:45am, followed by a briefing by the Chief Flag Marshall at 8:30am and you will be issued your flaggies vest.
Depending on the number of flaggies available on raceday, 2 to 3 marshalls are allocated to each flag point (with flags and fire extinguisher) with at least one experienced flaggie that "knows the ropes". A hand held radio is at most points to communicate with the Chief Flag Marshall.
Flaggies are rotated from point to point during the day for interest and efficiency and show flags to riders, assist with moving debris and fallen motorcycles from the corner.
Flaggies are supplied lunches and refreshments and encouraged to join the after race refreshments with riders.
